Singapore takes delivery of Aster 30 missiles
Singapore has taken delivery of its first MBDA Aster 30 SAMP/T surface-to-air missiles (SAM), with the first image revealed to the public in a Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) video released on 28 March.
Shephard believes that deliveries actually began as early as Q4 of 2017.
The image showed eight Aster 30 SAMP/T launch tubes mounted on an MAN 8x8 truck similar to those used elsewhere by the Singapore Armed Forces. ST Kinetics is the exclusive importer and distributor for MAN trucks in Singapore.
