Eurosatory: Scorpion looks for new technology

With delivery dates set all eyes are on French industry at this year’s Eurosatroy as the French Army’s Scorpion modernisation programme gathers pace.

Scorpion is an ambitious plan in terms of schedule with first deliveries of the new Griffon multi-role vehicle are expected in 2018 and will total 1,668 with final deliveries in 2033. Deployment of the first Griffon is expected in 2023.

For the Jaguar reconnaissance vehicle initial deliveries are expected in 2020 totalling 248 vehicles.
