Saab eyes future ATGM after Roquette success

Saab is looking to provide its new extended-range (ER) and high explosive (HE) capabilities to current users of the AT4 anti-tank guided missile as well as expand into new markets.

A spokesperson from Saab told Shephard: ‘We are looking at all existing AT4 users, where it is natural to extend the capabilities to add additional confined space capabilities.’

He added:  ‘But we also see additional possibilities on the global market in those cases when the customer wants a disposable support weapon instead of, or as a complement to, a reloadable system like the Carl-Gustaf.’
