Moscow parade to feature TOS-2 Tosochka debut
The TOS-2 Tosochka thermobaric MLRS is scheduled to make its first public appearance at the annual Victory Day parade in Moscow on 9 May.
The project was first mentioned by Russia's then Deputy Minister of Defence Yuri Borisov in September 2016, when he visited the NPO Splav factory in Tula. ‘In 2017, we must complete research and development works on a promising flamethrower [sic] system and I hope that after successful state testing it will go into serial production under the name Tosochka,’ he said.
