Lockheed Martin UK expects Warrior upgrade manufacturing deal by the end of 2021
Lockheed Martin UK (LMUK) is optimistic about the future of the Warrior Capability Sustainment Programme (WCSP) and expects to sign a manufacturing contract by the end of this year.
During an online media briefing on 18 February, Keren Wilkins, programme director for LMUK claimed that the company is working very closely with the government to be able to accept an agreement in 2021.
However, LMUK may face some challenges under the WCSP. The annual assessment of the MoD Equipment Plan, released last month by the UK National Audit Office, reported that over the next ten years (2020 to 2030),
