LMUK expects to seal Warrior deal next year
Lockheed Martin UK (LMUK) expects to sign a £800 million ($1 billion) sole-source contract in 2021 for the Warrior Capability Sustainment Programme (WCSP).
Currently, the company and the UK MoD are negotiating the agreement.
The MoD published a voluntary transparency notice on 24 April on the EU online tenders portal, announcing its intention to negotiate with Lockheed Martin the production and supply of the Warrior 2 version.
The contract will include production and supply of Warrior 2; provisioning of consumables and management of the repair asset loop for an initial two-year period; and training operators and maintenance personnel.
