In order to be ready for the battlefield of the future, armed forces around the world are increasing efforts and investing more resources to procure or develop robotics systems and unmanned ground platforms.
The UK Defence and Security Accelerator (DASA) announced on 18 August its intention to develop robotic and autonomous systems for logistic convoy operations.
DASA released an RfI to better understand current market capabilities. It is scoping the potential for funding opportunities and is interested in both early technology and mature systems to be integrated onto military vehicles.
