MSPO 2019: Polish Rosomak and Borsuk vehicles ‘stretched’ for success

Polish land capabilities are to be given a boost by Northrop Grumman’s Mk44 Stretch canon, which it will integrate on a fleet of 200 previously unarmed Rosomak and Borsuk amphibious tracked IFVs.

In order to progress with the two programmes, the manufacturer is working with a number of Polish supply chain partners, including Rosomak turret designer HSW to deliver greater lethality.

‘[To complete the integration] it’s now just a matter of getting all the players on the same platform and then testing it as a complete system rather than just the cannon itself,’ a Northrop Grumman spokesperson explained.
