MSPO 2019: FN Herstal to showcase SCAR SC
Belgian manufacturer FN Herstal will display its FN SCAR-SC subcompact carbine weapon with two available calibers - 5.56x45mm/.223 Rem, 7.62x35mm/.300 BLK - at MSPO.
The small arms weapon features a telescopic buttstock allowing a three position length
adjustment and is available with a wide choice of buttstock types - foldable or fixed adjustable, or
foldable, adjustable offset - to support end-user requirements, according to the company.
The FN SCAR-SC is designed specifically for security forces with the 5.56x45mm calibre available with semi-auto or selective fire trigger mechanism, which includes accessories like a sound suppressor, and can also feed non-military ammunition.
FN Herstal will exhibit the whole FN SCAR family, including 5.56 and 7.62 assault rifles, underbarrel or stand-alone grenade launchers and precision rifles.
Specifically, portable weapons on display will include the FN MINIMI 5.56 Mk3 and 7.62 Mk3, so too the 5.7x28mm weapon system, and FN 509 pistols.
The fixed forward firing solution .50 cal FN RMP Pod will also be exhibited.
