MSPO 2017: Poland prepares light vehicle procurement

After years of neglect the Polish Army is finally putting effort into modernising its fleet of 4x4 light all-terrain vehicles. 

The force has set up a number of procurement programmes that should in the next few years allow it to replace legacy platforms with new vehicles, which will better serve the needs of infantry, airborne, reconnaissance and special forces units. 

First and foremost the army is looking for industry partners to help it modernise its fleet of 4x4 light vehicles by replacing legacy Honker and UAZ469 jeeps.
