Jordan to acquire TOW missiles
Raytheon will supply tube-launched, optically tracked, wireless-guided (TOW) missiles for Jordon’s armed forces under an agreement between Jordan's Ministry of Defence and the US Department of Defense announced on 10 May.
TOW is a long-range, precision, anti-armour, anti-fortification weapon system used with the multi-mission TOW 2A, TOW 2B Aero and TOW Bunker Buster missiles.
Raytheon will begin delivering the missiles for Jordon this year.
Scott Speet, TOW program director, Raytheon, said: ‘Our international partners rely on the kind of extended-range precision TOW provides. We're looking forward to providing them this capability for many years to come.’
