ISVs begin operator training

Following the delivery of prototype ISV examples to the US Army last year, manufacturer GM Defense has started to hand over ISV units for operational testing.

The first set of new Infantry Squad Vehicles (ISVs) is being delivered to the US Army.

A spokesperson from GM Defense, which is building the ISVs, told Shephard that it had shipped the first six examples – called First Equipped Unit (FUE) vehicles – on 12 May.

These are now with 1st Brigade in the 82nd Airborne Division for Operator New Equipment Training during the week of 17 May.
