Indo Defence 2016: Beretta builds Asia presence (video)

Italian firearms group Beretta displayed its wares at this year's Indo Defence exhibition in Jakarta, Indonesia, including several weapons that have been sold to the Indonesian armed forces.

The Indonesian Air Force has acquired a number of Sako sniper rifles, while the Indonesian Army has purchased the Benelli M4 shotgun. Lastly the Indonesian Navy is equipping itself with the Beretta BU9 Nano concealable pistol.

Jarno Antonelli, defence and law enforcement spokesperson for Beretta, spoke to Shephard about the company's prospects in Indonesia and the wider region.
