I/ITSEC: Rockwell Collins unveils RealFires transportable trainer
Rockwell Collins has presented the RealFires transportable trainer at I/ITSEC in Orlando for the first time.
The RealFires trainer is a high fidelity, scalable training solution designed by joint fires operators for the joint fires community.
Currently the company produces, and has done for over a decade, FireStorm integrated targeting technology for the UK MoD and US Air Force, the RealFire training system will support this feature.
‘There has never been any real training for this system, other than a fully immersive training system which in seven years of being in the air force I used around once,’ Travis Klopfenstein,
