IITSEC 2013: Land simulation to up game

Simulation specialists have responded to calls from a senior US government official to further enhance training aids in the land environment to compete with levels of fidelity commonly experienced in flight training.

Addressing delegates at I/ITSEC 2013, Frank Di Giovanni, director training, readiness and strategy in the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense  (Readiness), called upon industry to close perceived capability gaps with naval and air force counterparts.
