IDEX 2021: Arquus seeks broader interest in Hornet

A new business unit within Arquus is tasked with finding export customers for the Hornet RCWS, which is already installed on French armoured vehicles.

A new division in Arquus will carry out global development and marketing activities of its remote-controlled weapon system (RCWS) products.

Hornet Business Unit was launched during the IDEX 2021 defence exhibition in Abu Dhabi on 21-25 February.

A company representative told Shephard that the main task of the division will be to find overseas partners and customers. It was noted that the Hornet RCWS from Arquus has been supplied to the French Armed Forces since 2016, with around 1,700 units already installed on French armoured vehicles.
