IDEX 2019: Paramount secures first Mbombe 4 customer

Paramount has successfully sold its Mbombe 4 mine protected armoured vehicle to the UAE the MoD announced at IDEX 2019.

The company showcased the 4x4 variant of the Mbombe for the first time at the Abu Dhabi event.

The vehicle displayed is a production variant that has been designed to meet customer requirements, Paramount officials confirmed.

The production line is currently located in South Africa but the company has the capability to move production to a customer nation if required.

The 4x4 completes the Paramount family of vehicles which also includes a 6x6 and an 8x8, of which the company said
