As final preparations for IDEX are concluded in advance of one of the largest defence and security shows of the year Shephard takes a look inside to highlight key themes and topics for the week ahead.

Among these is the balance in the land armour sector between the purchase of new equipment and upgrading or updating existing fleets. In addition, unmanned technology and maritime security platforms are prominent in the minds of regional defence agencies and are widely exhibited at the show.
