IDEX 2015 (video): Raytheon highlights Excalibur navy applications

Raytheon is using IDEX 2015 to highlight the naval applications and modifications of its Excalibur programme. 

The company is displaying the Excalibur 1b 155mm guided artilliery shell at the exhibition and was keen to highlight the changes that will be made for naval use, including use of the Raytheon developed fixed base rather than the spinning base that was displayed on 1b. 

The company predicits that the market for the modified navy round is significant, upwards of 10,000 rounds with over 100 US Navy tubes on ships that the Excalibur could be fired from, the international market is suggested to
