IDEX 2015: New Saber-25 turret launched by FNSS
Turkish armaments manufacturer FNSS has put its new turret design on display at IDEX called the Saber-25.
Fitted with a 25mm M242 cannon from ATK, the turret has been designed to give the operator more space inside and provide more ready rounds, a new electric drive system and full 2-axis stabilisation.
A spokesperson from FNSS told Shephard that the turret is the next generation from the company’s Sharpshooter family of turrets and it is being offered for future programmes.
He added that there is already interest from an interested party that could become a customer in the near future.
