General Dynamics Land Systems-Canada has received a $37.2 million contract to deliver 60 hardware kits for the US Marine Corps' Light Armored Vehicle (LAV) Reset Program, General Dynamics announced on 18 February 2019.
The new hardware kit will address obsolescence and readiness issues of the fleet and consists of a modernised powerpack, driveline system, driver's instrument panel and a new turret slip ring.
The fully integrated kits will be procured by the company and delivered to the Marine Corps for installation at Marine Corps Production Plants.
