Eurosatory: Terrex 3 goes expeditionary
Singapore Technologies Kinetics (STK) has sent its first two Terrex 3 prototypes for trials in Australia for the Land 400 phase 2 programme and unveiled the design at Eurosatory.
The company has developed the Terrex 3 design in order to meet the Australian programme requirements. Although it is based on the Terrex 2 model being put forward for the USMC ACV 1.1 programme, there are some key adaptions to make it more of an expeditionary vehicle.
Winston Toh, executive vice president of STK, told Shephard that the vehicle is heavier at 35t and has a larger payload capacity of 12t
