Eurosatory: Swedish SF vehicles drive in

Swedish Special Forces have begun to receive Renault Trucks Defense (RTD) Bastion Tactical and Reconnaissance Vehicles, defence sources explained to Shephard Media at the Eurosatory conference in Paris today.

Sources explained how Sweden’s Special Operations Task Group (SOG) were now taking delivery of an undisclosed number of 4x4 Bastion Armoured Personnel Carriers which would be used to insert, extract and support Ground Assault Forces (GAFs) and Special Reconnaissance (SR) teams particularly during Military Operations in Urban Terrain (MOUT).

Vehicles will be delivered to the SOG, which is headquartered in Karlsborg, throughout the remainder of the year where it will support
