Eurosatory: Stabilised weapon mount nears production
Paradigm SRP is about to enter into production with its Talon gyro-stabilised weapon platform, as it chases a launch customer for the system.
The company, which displayed the platform on an Argo XTI 8x8 vehicle at the live demonstrations held during the Eurosatory exhibition, is targeting special forces and parapublic applications for the system.
Paradigm CEO Todd DeGidio told Shephard the system was modelled on the stabilisation developed for EO/IR pods but turned upside down to provide 5 to 500 microradian (urad) stability, depending on the application.
