Eurosatory: Saab and NLT make non-lethal deal

Saab Bofors Dynamics Switzerland (SBDS) and US company Non-Lethal Technologies (NLT) have signed a cooperation agreement at Eurosatory to market the latter’s products into the military arena.

Under the agreement SBDS will purchase the IronFish and Cobra 40 less-lethal weapon systems including their 38mm and 40mm munitions and sell them to the European military market on an exclusive basis.

Stephan Kocher, CEO of SBDS, told Shephard that non-lethal technologies is a ‘completely new area’ for Saab and the agreement follows a plan by the company to enter into the non-lethal technologies market approved in 2012.
