Eurosatory: Rifle shortening kit from LMT
A new Personal Defence Weapon (PDW) upgrade kit was being offered by Lewis Machine & Tools at Eurosatory that provides a way of shortening existing AR rifles.
But the difference with this upgrade is that whilst shortening the rifle there is the possibility of keeping the power and range.
Jim Jestel, director of international business development told Shephard that this is achieved by shortening the back end of the rifle instead of the barrel. The barrel of the rifle on display at the show stays at a healthy 10.5 inches thus retaining the velocity of the round.
