Eurosatory: Iveco promotes fourth-generation LMV

Iveco Defence Vehicles is showcasing its fourth-generation Light Multipurpose Vehicle (LMV) at Eurosatory in Paris.

Speaking to Shephard at the show, Iveco spokesman Alessandro Camisotti said the company’s upgraded LMV was ‘a completely new vehicle’, having been re-designed after extensive consultation with industry operators.

‘This LMV features improved [electro-magnetic compatibility] protection, it’s also higher and bigger so it has an increased volume, but is lighter and more comfortable, more protected,’ said Camisotti.

The company touts the inclusion of EMC compliant electrical equipment in the vehicle as adding significant value, facilitating the future installation of government-supplied equipment upgrades.
