Eurosatory 2018: GDELS unveils new configurations for ASCOD
General Dynamics European Land Systems (GDELS) is showcasing two new configurations for its ASCOD tracked platform at this year’s Eurosatory, including a new 120mm ‘tank destroyer’ variant.
Shephard got a sneak peek of the two platforms during a recent visit to GDELS facility in Vienna, Austria, with one vehicle sporting an unmanned UT30 30mm turret from Israeli company Elbit Systems and the other featuring a 120mm Hitfact turret from Italy’s Leonardo (formerly Oto Melara).
