Eurosatory 2018: European land modernisation (video)

In recent years European armies have invested heavily in updating legacy land platforms and acquiring new advanced capabilities.

The Boxer 8x8 has proved a popular choice for European nations after being selected by the UK, Slovenia and Lithuania. Meanwhile France, Germany and the UK are all upgrading their main battle tanks, with the latter also upgrading its fleet of Warrior IFVs.

A host of nations are also in the process of selecting new vehicles to fulfil various armoured vehicle requirements, with little sign of European modernisation efforts abating.
