Eurosatory 2014: Patria launches NEMO training simulator (video)

Patria Weapon Systems (PWS) has unveiled its New Mortar (NEMO) training simulator for the first time at Eurosatory in Paris.

The Finnish weapons manufacturer touted its new simulator as an immersive and realistic training environment for all fire-missions the 120mm NEMO turret-mounted mortar would typically execute.

Speaking to Shephard, Simo Makipaja, senior VP of business development for Patria, said he was ‘pretty happy’ with the level of interest expressed at the show, and was optimistic regarding the simulators potential appeal to industry.
