Eurosatory 2012: MineWolf hint at micro-platform for anti-personnel mine clearance

MineWolf Systems has revealed plans to create its smallest mine clearance vehicle yet as it highlights growing demand in South America and South-East Asia, Shephard has been informed.

According to executives, the Swiss company is considering a 'micro' model to follow on from its existing MW370, Medium MineWolf MW330 and remote-piloted Mini MineWolf MW240 systems.

The three-ton variant would be designed to deactivate and clear anti-personnel mines in the jungles of Colombia for example, one executive described.
