DSEI 2019: OSG unveils touchscreen armoured glass solution

Israeli company OSG used DSEI to unveil a touch-screen variant of its ScreeneX vision-through-glass technology.

Already supplying transparent armoured glass to multiple vehicle original equipment manufacturers including BAE Systems; Thales Australia; Oshkosh Defense; and Rheinmetall, OSG’s latest solution has been designed in response to emerging demand signals from military personnel seeking to maximise tight compartment spaces in tactical ground vehicles.

Speaking to Shephard at DSEI 2019, OSG’s marketing and sales manager, Oren Yaron, explained how end user displays, traditionally located on the dashboard or control consoles of vehicles, could now be displayed and manipulated on windshields and windows
