DSEI 2017: New light helmet from Morgan

Morgan Advanced Materials has introduced two new ultra-lightweight ballistic helmets at DSEI.

The helmets, known as the AC912 and AC913, are new additions to the company’s Lightweight Armoured Soldier Architecture (LASA) range.

Both new designs have been made lighter than the company's AC914 and AC915, while maintaining high protection.

The AC912 weighs 1.18 kg in its medium size and is a full cut helmet that covers the ears for greater protection.

AC913 weighs 1.05kg in its medium size and comes in a high-cut design which allows for enhanced situational awareness.
