DSEI 2015: UKTI showcases industry (video)
Representatives from UK Trade and Investment Defence and Security Organisation (UKTI DSO) used the DSEI exhibition to showcase various technologies on offer from UK industry.
BAE Systems is showcasing its new situational awareness tool, Battleview 360, for land vehicles at DSEI in London.
The system is on display on the CV90 tracked vehicle and is part of a larger future development initiative of the infantry fighting vehicle.
The system uses technology similar that used in fighter jets to create a situational awareness system which allows vehicle crews to theoretically ‘see through’ their vehicles in real time.
Battleview 360 is a digital mapping system that collates, displays and tracks the position of surrounding features of interest in 2D or 3D mode.
