DSEI 2013: Supacat displays new recce vehicle
A new light reconnaissance vehicle – the LRV 400 – has been launched at DSEI by UK-based design and engineering company Supacat.
The company has developed the vehicle – which has a gross vehicle weight of 3500kg, a width of 1.8m and a height of 1.8m (with weapon lowered or removed) – as a low cost, high performance capability for special forces, border patrol, reconnaissance, rapid intervention and light strike roles.
Supacat said that the LRV 400 is a militarised variant of Qt Services’ successful `Wildcat` off-road motorsport vehicle and the two companies have teamed to modify
