DSEI 2013: Nexter launches new Titus armoured vehicle family

The APC variant of a new family of vehicles by Nexter called the Tactical Infantry Transport and Utility System (Titus) was shown at the DSEI exhibition for the first time.

The French armoured vehicle manufacturer unveiled the 6x6 APC, which has seating for ten dismounted troops, a commander station, and a gunner and driver in the front. The vehicle was fitted with a 20mm Nexter ARX20 remote weapon station but can hold any armament up to 20mm.

With a basic weight of 17t the Titus has a combat weight of 23t but with an extra 4t of baggage space available
