DSA 2016: AV4 unveiled
The first Malaysian AV4 MRAP 4x4 vehicle – a prototype – has been displayed for the first time at the Defence Services Asia exhibition in Kuala Lumpur.
A spokesperson for DRB-HICOM DefTech told Shephard that the vehicle is the first of 20 and it is still undergoing testin, but it is due to get final acceptance by the end of the year.
He said that the remaining 19 on order for the Malaysian Army will be assembled by DefTech at their facility in Pekan and from there they will be sent to the Sabah region of Eastern Malaysia to participate in
