DefExpo 2018: MKU goes on the offensive with weapon MoUs
MKU, the Indian firm known for its protective products such as ballistic vests and armour products, heralded a move into a new area at DefExpo 2018 with the company signing MoUs with two overseas companies relating to small arms.
Rajesh Gupta, assistant general manager at MKU, described this expansion as a natural extension of the company’s expertise in protection technology for soldiers and platforms.
On 10 April MKU signed two MoUs with Thales concerning strategic cooperation on a carbine version of the F90 rifle and EO devices for night-fighting. The latter category includes weapon sights, night vision goggles, hand-held thermal
