Czech Army procures new fuel tankers

The Czech Army is improving its refuelling and fuel transportation processes with the procurement of seven CAPL and two CNS semitrailer fuel tankers.

The Czech MoD announced on 16 March a CZK252.2 million ($9.8 million) contract with state-owned enterprise VOP CZ to supply the vehicles.

Deputy Director for Armaments and Acquisitions Lubor Koudelka explained that the main objective of this acquisition is to ensure timely transportation, storage and refuelling to support aircraft operating in the Czech Republic and abroad, in operations in cooperation with NATO.

The Czech Army will receive these vehicles by November 2021. It also has the option
