Revision Military has submitted its offering for the US Special Operations Command’s (USSOCOM’s) Family of Tactical Headborne Systems (FTHS) programme.
The programme is designed at providing operators with a next-generation combat helmet solution.
Officially unveiled on 3rd October Revision’s solution will be competing against similar offerings from competitors 3M Ceradyne and incumbent contractor Gentex which manufactures the Ops Core FAST combat helmet.
The news follows multiple contracts awarded to the competitors in June allowing them to further explore future technology systems as part of the FTHS programme which, according to a USSOCOM Broad Agency Announcement published in December
