AUSA 2015: Oshkosh on JLTV standby
Oshkosh Defense is waiting to hit the ground running on the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) programme once the protest is concluded.
Lockheed Martin protested the US DoD decision to award the JLTV Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) contract to Oshkosh in August and this has resulted in a pause in the programme.
However, John Bryant, senior VP of defence programmes at Oshkosh, told Shephard at the AUSA exhibition in Washington DC that although they cannot do any production work on JLTV, the company is able to prepare itself to continue work under the contract once the protest is finished.
