A fourth brigade of Stryker Double-V hull (DVH) vehicles has been approved by the DoD, it was announced at the AUSA Annual exhibition in Washington DC.

David Dopp, the project manager for the Stryker Brigade Combat Team (PM SBCT), said that procurement of vehicles would not exceed 360 and deliveries will take place from 2016-18 dependent on funding.

‘Delivery of the 4th brigade vehicles is expected to begin in fiscal year 2017, immediately following final delivery of the 3rd brigade to maintain a steady output of vehicles and avoid costs associated with a break in production,’ he said.
