AUSA 2013: Rafael clears fog of war

Rafael has unveiled a new collaborative targeting system dubbed Samson Knight, which it plans to demonstrate in Israel early next year.

Displayed at the AUSA exhibition in Washington DC, Samson Knight is designed to protect convoys of vehicles by taking information from Rafael’s Spotlite hostile fire detection system and determines the platform best suited to engage the target.

In development for several years, the system consists of a small box that is integrated with the existing platform sensors and communication systems.
