ADMM-Plus shows counterterrorism resolve
In a major show of cooperation, special forces representing 15 nations from the ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting Plus (ADMM-Plus) performed a counterterrorism exercise in Singapore on 9 May.
Although maritime security has principally been grabbing headlines in Southeast Asia, the threat of transboundary terrorism remains high, especially from groups affiliated with Daesh.
