Year of decision for Polish Navy
After years of stagnation the Polish Navy in recent months seems to have found itself on the right course to become a more modern and self-sufficient force.
With the commissioning of the minehunter ORP Kormoran late last year, together with the start of construction of other naval platforms, the service looks to have begun a serious push towards modernisation. The Kormoran was first locally built vessel to be placed into service in over 20 years.
