Philippines awaits new cutter and frigates
Documents were signed at Coast Guard Base Alameda, California on 21 July to hand over a decommissioned Hamilton-class cutter to the Philippine Navy (PN).
Boutwell is the third high-endurance cutter to be signed over to the PN under the US excess defense articles (EDA) programme. Under its new flag the ship will be known as BRP Andres Bonifacio.
