Malaysia chooses Kongsberg NSM for Boustead’s Littoral Combat Ships
Kongsberg announced on 9 April 2015 it had received a letter of award (LoA) to supply its Naval Strike Missile (NSM) to arm Malaysia’s six 3,000-tonne Second Generation Patrol Vessel - Littoral Combat Ships (SGPV-LCS). Boustead Heavy Industries Corporation (BHIC) is responsible for constructing the Royal Malaysian Navy’s (RMN) new vessels.

Malaysia is the third user of this modern, fifth-generation, anti-surface weapon.’
