Fallon cuts first steel for HMS Glasgow (video)
Shephard spoke to UK defence secretary Michael Fallon following the steel cutting of the first Type 26, HMS Glasgow.
To be known as the City Class, the Type 26 is an anti-submarine warfare frigate that will provide protection to the UK's nuclear deterrent and aircraft carriers, and will be a replacement vessel for some of the Type 23 frigates currently in service.
