Bahrain receives upgraded Al Manama ship
Leonardo has delivered the first of six upgraded Al Manama naval vessels to the Royal Bahrain Naval Force, the company announced on 23 January.
The guided-missile patrol combatant vessel was delivered during a ceremony in Mina Salman at Royal Bahrain Navy headquarters on 22 January. The vessels are being upgraded under a deal signed with the naval force in 2015.
The work includes installation of a new weapon control system, training services and logistics.
