West 2013: Boeing delivers network management update

A new version of the Boeing Joint Enterprise Network Manager (JENM) has been delivered to the US Army’s Joint Tactical Network Centre (JTNC), the company announced at the AFCEA West 2013 conference.

Deborah Wilson, JENM product manager at Boeing, told Shephard that JENM version 2.5 was delivered on 21 December, ahead of schedule and below budget. JENM is a network manager that can integrate different Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) radio waveform networks including Wideband Networking Waveform (WNW), Soldier Radio Waveform (SRW) and the Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) to operate and manage them from one laptop.
